Uganda’s government has approved the development of a 100-MWp solar power plant with 250 MWh of battery energy storage to be delivered by Energy America, a US-based solar panels manufacturer and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor.
[pdf] Developed in two phases, located in Khoumagueli (40 MW) and Fello Djallou (44 MW), the project represents a $90 million investment, underscoring the importance of renewable energy in Guinea’s future.
