SHANGHAI, June 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Huawei Digital Power, in partnership with SchneiTec, has successfully launched Cambodia ’s first TÜV SÜD -certified grid-forming energy storage project, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s journey toward a sustainable energy future.
[pdf] Developed in two phases, located in Khoumagueli (40 MW) and Fello Djallou (44 MW), the project represents a $90 million investment, underscoring the importance of renewable energy in Guinea’s future.
[pdf] The BESS project will have an installed capacity of around 30 MWh, which will be installed at ENGIE Energía Perú’s ChilcaUno Thermoelectric Power Plant, and will allow the plant to operate at full capacity, which translates into more efficient energy for the country, as well as contributing to improve the stability of the national power grid.
